Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial, agricultural and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including drawing reading, diagnostic and troubleshooting electrical systems. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects such as renovations, construction sites, and agricultural facilities, ensuring safety and compliance with all electrical codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring systems accordance electrical code.
- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures
- Troubleshoot, diagnos and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with projects by upgrading or replacing existing electrical infrastructure
- Conduct inspections to identify potential electrical hazards or system failures
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or remodeling projects to ensure proper electrical integration
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to local electrical codes during installation and repair tasks
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician in a commercial environment
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting techniques
- Experience in renovation projects and working with construction teams is a plus
- Handyman experience is beneficial but not required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid electrician license or certification
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety compliance
Pay: $18.00-$36.00 per hour
