Position Summary
Provide technical drafting and engineering support for power generation and electrical distribution projects. This role is responsible for preparing engineering drawings, maintaining technical documentation, and supporting project execution in collaboration with engineering, quotation, and project teams.
Responsibilities
· Prepare and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
· Review customer specifications, RFQs, drawings, and technical documentation.
· Develop and maintain engineering documentation for generators, transformers, switchgear, and other power equipment.
· Support senior engineers with drawing revisions, technical documentation, and project execution.
· Assist with technical reviews to ensure drawings and documentation meet project requirements.
· Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain technical information and engineering documentation.
· Assist the quotation and sales teams by preparing technical documentation and supporting proposal development.
· Support testing, quality assurance, and commissioning activities as required.
· Ensure engineering documentation complies with applicable industry standards and customer specifications.
Qualifications
· Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related engineering technology program.
· New graduates are encouraged to apply.
· Experience with AutoCAD is required.
· Familiarity with electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, power distribution systems, or industrial equipment is considered an asset.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
