The Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education is inviting applications to teach a course in Winter 2021. Please complete the online application form and upload required documents. Applications will be ranked according to the collective agreement between McGill University and the MCLIU. Preference will be given to the qualified applicant with the most priority points.
Course Description : Acquisition of skills and techniques in aquatics.
Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education : B.Ed. in Physical Education (PE teacher education)
Experience : Experience in teaching aquatics and use of curriculum models to teach PE
CURRIE Pool - Please note that given the current circumstances and the lack of certainty with regards to the resumption of in-person teaching activities, this course may be required to be taught in part or entirely remotely or in part or entirely in person. Confirmation of primary mode of teaching for the Winter semester for specific courses in a Faculty/School will be announced at the latest by the end of October 2020. The course lecturer may be required to prepare and deliver teaching material suited to a remote/online teaching environment using a virtual learning platform [e.g., Zoom, WebEx] and the McGill myCourses learning management system. Training and assistance on remote teaching is available through Teaching and Learning Services. Course L ecturers are encouraged to record their lectures.
