We are looking for a motivated countertop installer/polisher to join our team. While previous experience is not required, it will be considered an asset.
Requirements:
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy materials (granite/quartz) and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and positioning countertops into place on-site/in production shop.
- Adequate knowledge & experience with basic hand and power tools
- Execute work orders and projects received by Production/Installation Manager
- Manage material loading/staging for safe, smooth, and efficient workflow
- Ability to organize, schedule and complete stone fabrication/Installation as received
- Operate motor vehicles including pickup trucks
Qualification:
- Great attitude and willingness to learn and take on new opportunities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient to read and distinguish between imperial and metric units
- Strong math and calculation skills
Willing to learn the following:
- Set seams using a seam machine
- Cutting & polishing quartz & granite
- Install and polish waterfall legs
- Learning machinery
Experience & Skills:
- Countertop Fabrication/Installation: Not required but considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain a clean working space
- Experience in CAD/CAM/CNC as an asset
- Cantonese/Mandarin speaker as an asset
Education:
- High school diploma or GED.
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time, 40+ hours per week
- Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
- Pay will vary depending on previous experience
- Overtime pay available
