As part of the supply chain & manufacturing team, you will interact cross-functionally with internal and external organizations to help Pleora deliver quality products in a cost-effective & timely manner. This hands-on position has responsibility for securing supply that enables the organization to meet sales, service & inventory objectives. Through establishing procurement strategy, alliances, and agreements with key partners; you shall develop, review, and manage the performance of the supply chain. Negotiating terms, conditions and pricing with key suppliers, you will proactively assess & manage risk to contribute to the profitability and success of Pleora. You will optimize business practices and systemic capability (ERP and various software tools) to effectively manage the supply chain.
What you do
Procurement including purchasing, vendor relationship management (contract manufacturers, distributors, manufacturers), and supply chain management
Proactively manage supply to support business objectives including but not limited to; on-time deliver, cost, and asset utilization.
Manage and report on key performance indicators such as purchase price variance, COGS, inventory turns, cash-to-cash cycle time, inventory aging & obsolescence
Administer supplier product change notifications
Forecast preparation and adherence
Creating & maintaining documented processes
Other duties as required
What you need
Relevant postsecondary education, preferably in commerce & supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (PMAC, APICS, SCMP)
Minimum of 7 years of related work experience, or combination of both education and work-related experience
Tactical purchasing and problem-solving experience with contract manufacturers and component suppliers/manufacturers
Advanced knowledge & experience with ERP systems, Microsoft products (Excel), and databases
Working knowledge & experience with circuit card manufacturing and international trade logistics
Knowledge of discreet manufacturing & supply chain management techniques (high mix low volume), environmental & regulatory controls (REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals), standard cost methodology, ISO environment
Experience with Intuitive ERP, Silicon Expert, and Arena PLM is an asset
