We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Curry Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing authentic Indian curries, gravies, and tandoori accompaniments while maintaining consistency, quality, and food safety standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian curries, gravies, and specialty dishes.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
- Assist with daily prep work including chopping, marinating, and sauce preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station.
- Monitor inventory and communicate stock requirements to management.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Work efficiently during peak service hours.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an Indian restaurant kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of North Indian curries, gravies, and traditional cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
