Position: Seasonal Tax Professional
Location: 70 Front Street W Strathroy, ON N7G 1X7 – IN PERSON
Employment Type: Full-time, Seasonal (Feb - April 30th, 2027)
Hours: 8:00am-6:00pm (flexible, must meet minimum 40 hour work per week)
Pay: To be determined based on experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and meticulous Tax Preparer to join our team for the 2027 tax season. This is a seasonal position from Febuary 2027, to April 30, 2027. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation and be familiar with Profile software. This role requires working 40 to 48 hours per week during peak periods to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns
- Review financial records, such as prior tax return forms, income statements, and documentation of expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local tax regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on the status of their returns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Utilize basic computer skills for data entry and tax software operations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in tax preparation and related services is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and procedures
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with tax software (Profile)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Must have a reliable vehicle, as remote work is not an option for this position.
Training and Development:
- Completion of an online tax course (paid for by the company)
- In-person training during the fall/winter (more details provided upon hiring)
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time, seasonal position from February 17th to April 30th, 2025
- Work hours are flexible but must total no less than 40 hours per week
- All work will be conducted in person at our Strathroy location

- Based on experience and skill level
