We are looking for experienced Water Restoration / Abatement Technicians to join our Edmonton team. We are also open to hiring one entry-level person who has the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Kalloway Property Services works primarily in condominium restoration, water damage, demolition, rebuild preparation, hazardous material abatement, and building restoration projects. We are not looking for people who just want a paycheque. We are looking for people who take pride in doing the job properly, showing up prepared, and being part of a strong team.
What We Are Looking For
We are hiring for:
Experienced Technicians
You should have real field experience in water restoration, demolition, drying, containment, abatement, or related restoration work.
Entry-Level / Green Technician
You do not need restoration experience, but you must be reliable, coachable, physically capable, and willing to learn the trade properly.
Responsibilities
As a Water Restoration / Abatement Technician, you may be responsible for:
- Water damage response and site preparation
- Demolition and removal of damaged materials
- Setting up containment, poly, zipper walls, and negative air
- Using air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA equipment, and basic drying equipment
- Assisting with asbestos, mould, and hazardous materials projects
- Cleaning, packing, moving materials, and site protection
- Taking direction from Project Managers, Lead Technicians, and Site Supervisors
- Maintaining clean, safe, and professional job sites
- Working respectfully in occupied homes, condos, and common areas
- Following company safety procedures and wearing required PPE
- Helping load, unload, organize, and maintain equipment and vehicles
Experience That Is an Asset
Experience with any of the following is a strong asset:
- Water restoration
- Asbestos abatement
- Mould remediation
- Demolition
- Construction labour
- Fire/flood restoration
- Condo or multi-family building work
- IICRC training
- Fall protection, first aid, respirator fit testing, or asbestos worker training

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and work on your feet
- Ability to wear PPE and a respirator when required
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Restoration, abatement, or construction experience preferred for senior positions
- Willingness to participate in training and safety programs
Compensation
Pay will depend on experience, certifications, and ability.
We are hiring for multiple levels:
- Experienced Restoration / Abatement Technicians
- Lead or Senior Technicians
- Entry-Level Restoration Labourer / Technician Trainee
