Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Summer Camp Staff (Student Position) to join our team and help create a fun, engaging, and educational environment for children during the summer months. This role offers an excellent opportunity for students interested in early childhood education, teaching, or working with children to gain valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic setting. The position is ideal for individuals who are energetic, compassionate, and eager to contribute to a positive camp experience.
Duties
- Support campers in their daily routines, including mealtime, rest periods, and transitions between activities
- Supervise children during outdoor play, arts and crafts, and other camp activities to ensure safety at all times
- Assist with setting up camp spaces, organizing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of activity areas
- Communicate effectively with children and fellow staff members to ensure a smooth camp operation
Qualifications
- Experience working with children through tutoring, babysitting, roles is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage children in a variety of activities
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to creating a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers
