Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment across job sites
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as mixing materials, digging trenches, or assembling structures
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for everyone on site
- Perform general site maintenance including debris removal and waste management
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision, adhering to safety guidelines
Experience
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labour roles is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions with energy and resilience
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures and protocols is a plus
- Reliable transportation to get to job sites consistently is required
