Job Summary
We are seeking a Part Time Forklift Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Concord, ON. This role is ideal for a reliable and safety-focused warehouse professional with Counterbalance forklift experience who is looking for steady part-time hours in a manufacturing and operations environment.
The Part Time Forklift Operator will support shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and yard operations while helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Counterbalance forklift to move raw materials, finished products, supplies, and shipments throughout the facility and yard.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments from trucks and trailers while following safe material handling procedures.
- Prepare, stage, and transport materials to designated areas for shipping, receiving, and production requirements.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation.
- Perform daily forklift inspections, report equipment issues or damage, and follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and warehouse systems while keeping the work area clean and organized.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $20.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Part-time, 16 to 24 hours per week.
- Workdays: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
