Pharmacy Manager / Lead Pharmacist – Full-Time
$140,000+ Base Salary + Performance Bonus | No Evenings | Oshawa, ON
An established independent pharmacy in Oshawa is seeking an experienced, motivated Pharmacy Manager / Lead Pharmacist to take ownership of the day-to-day dispensary operations and work directly with the Owner to lead the pharmacy forward.
This is an opportunity for an experienced pharmacist who wants more than a traditional dispensing role. You will be responsible for managing the dispensary, leading the pharmacy team, optimizing workflow, and helping improve the overall efficiency and performance of the pharmacy.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of pharmacy experience required
- Kroll Paperless experience required
- Methadone experience required
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of pharmacy operations
- Management or pharmacy leadership experience preferred
- Strong ability to manage staff, delegate responsibilities, and maintain an efficient dispensaryworkflow
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented leader who can motivate and develop staff
- Current registration and good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Injection certification required
- Commitment to exceptional patient care and service
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day dispensary operations
- Lead, support, and manage pharmacy staff
- Coordinate workflow and ensure accurate, timely prescription processing
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and patient service
- Ensure compliance with all professional, regulatory, and legal requirements
- Provide clinical expertise and patient counselling
- Support staff training, development, and performance
- Work directly with the Owner on operational improvements and the continued growth of the pharmacy
