Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise residential renovation projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards
- Perform and supervise all aspects of carpentry, including framing, trim, drywall, cabinetry, and finishing or other carpentry tasks as needed
- Coordinate daily work activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress on-site
- Coordinate/schedule subcontractors and suppliers
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards and client expectations
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth operations
- Assist in construction estimating and provide input on project timelines and resource planning
- Read plans and ensure work meets quality standards
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential renovation projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage projects and solve problems independently
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and safety standards
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Own tools
- Construction certifications or licenses are a plus but not mandatory
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
