Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, assembling, and finishing custom cabinetry and millwork to the highest standards of quality. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and enjoys working on unique, high-end residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop drawings, specifications, and work orders.
- Fabricate and assemble custom cabinetry, millwork, and architectural woodwork.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Cut, shape, machine, and assemble wood, veneers, laminates, and other materials.
- Install hardware and prepare products for finishing or delivery.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards and project specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with production managers, designers, and installation teams to ensure project success.
- Assist with troubleshooting fabrication issues and identifying process improvements.
- Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of cabinet making and custom millwork experience.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and machinery.
- Experience working with custom cabinetry and high-end residential millwork preferred.
- Familiarity with laminates, veneers, hardwoods, and finishing preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Physical ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Red Seal Cabinetmaker certification or equivalent training.
- Experience with CNC-produced components and modern manufacturing processes.
- Forklift certification (an asset).

Compensation
$24–$28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
