We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel
- Prepare and cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain compliance with food safety standards
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Enforce sanitation and safety protocols in accordance with health regulations
- Lead by example in serving guests and maintaining a positive team environment
- Collaborate on special event planning
- Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety standards, and restaurant policies
- Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant operations
- Supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Excellent understanding of food industry trends, hospitality practices, and restaurant management
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills for team coordination and customer service
- Prior experience in food service environments such as restaurants or hospitality venues is highly desirable

Pay: $44,000.00-$52,500.00 per year
