Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and credit transactions
- Process sales efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service
- Conduct product demos and provide information on merchandise to encourage sales
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth checkout processes
- Follow company policies on cash handling, security, and POS procedures
- Support team members with inventory management and store cleanliness as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred
- Bilingual skills (English and another language) are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills are essential
- Experience in technology sales or product demos is a plus
- Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and time management are required for success in this role
- Ability to provide excellent phone etiquette and customer service in a fast-paced environment
