Salary: $30.00 - $ 40.00 per hour + Commission

Tree Doctors Inc. is a professional tree service and arboriculture company serving Toronto and the GTA. We provide residential and commercial tree care services, including tree removal, tree pruning, tree trimming, stump grinding, tree planting, plant health care (PHC), and arborist consulting.
We are seeking an experienced Salesman Arborist / Estimator to join our growing tree care team.
Major Objective
The Salesman Arborist / Tree Service Estimator is responsible for conducting tree assessments, preparing estimates and proposals, overseeing projects involving protected trees, managing tree care projects from initiation through completion, and generating arborist reports and tree protection plans in compliance with municipal bylaws.
Responsibilities
- Meet with residential and commercial clients to assess tree care needs
- Perform tree health evaluations and tree risk assessments
- Recommend services such as pruning, removal, fertilization, cabling & bracing
- Prepare detailed quotes and job-specific proposals
- Create arborist reports and tree protection plans
- Interpret site plans and municipal tree bylaws
- Oversee projects involving protected trees
- Manage jobs from lead to completion and invoicing
- Build strong client and contractor relationships
Qualifications (Mandatory)
- Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license (clean record)
- ISA Certified Arborist (in good standing)
- Graduate of arboriculture, urban forestry, or related program
- Strong knowledge of tree biology, biomechanics, and arboricultural practices
- Previous tree service industry experience
- Project management experience, overseeing tree care projects, scheduling, coordination of crews, and client communication is required
Asset
- Previous Sales or Estimator experience in tree service
- Experience with municipal permits and technical report writing
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
