Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Clinical Receptionist to join our team at Argyll Wellness Centre. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills and preferably experience working in a physiotherapy or healthcare clinic setting.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience while supporting the daily operations of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in a warm and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Schedule and manage patient appointments
- Process payments and issue receipts
- Verify insurance information and assist with direct billing
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Support clinic operations and assist practitioners as needed
- Keep reception and waiting areas clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant preferred
- Preferred experience working in a physiotherapy or healthcare clinic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Office experience with administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, and data entry
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
