MCA Contracting Ltd. is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team in Lively, Ontario.
This is a full-time, year-round position supporting the day-to-day operations of our office. The successful candidate will play a key role in bookkeeping, payroll, job cost tracking, and general administrative support while working closely with our management team.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Process accurate and timely payroll for office and field employees.
- Track project costs and job-specific expenses throughout the construction season.
- Maintain organized financial and administrative records.
- Perform data entry using QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Word.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide general administrative support.
- Assist with filing, document management, and other office duties as required.
- Support management with various administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications
- Experience with QuickBooks and basic bookkeeping principles is considered an asset (training will be provided to the right candidate).
- Previous office administration or bookkeeping experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and standard office software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
