About The Role:
Draganfly Innovations Inc. is looking for a Manager, Financial Reporting to support the preparation, analysis, and integrity of the organization’s financial statements and regulatory filings. This role ensures reporting is accurate, timely, and fully compliant with IFRS, while supporting external audits and providing financial insights to senior leadership.
This is a full-time remote role reporting to the CFO and VP Finance. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with Finance leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting and Compliance

Research standard and non-standard accounting situations and prepare related accounting entries, recommendations, and memos.

Support accounting for domestic and international acquisitions, debt, equity, investments, and share-based compensation.

Ensure all reports align with current accounting frameworks, IFRS requirements, and regulatory demands.

Stay current on new and updated IFRS releases, assess business impact, and develop implementation plans to ensure compliance.

Analyze regulatory and financial data trends to provide actionable insights to management for corporate development activities.
Financial Statements, MD&A and Regulatory Reporting

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and MD&A, including proper notes and disclosures.

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for regulatory bodies and stakeholders, as required.

Support external audit processes and ensure reporting deliverables are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

Prepare high-level estimates, including deferred taxes.
Systems, Controls and Process Improvement

Manage the equity issuance tracking platform.

Propose, maintain, help automate, and streamline reporting workflows, internal controls, and accounting policies.

Support compliance with PCAOB SOX controls requirements and the COSO framework.

Partner with Finance leadership to improve reporting processes and strengthen financial controls.

Qualifications:

At least 6 years of progressive corporate and public accounting experience, including experience in a similar role, regulatory compliance under IFRS, and team-based work.

Designated CPA.

Advanced knowledge of consolidation software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

Strong understanding of IFRS reporting requirements, technical accounting matters, and regulatory filings.

Proven communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial processes and results clearly to board members and senior executives.
Preferred Qualifications

Big 4 public accounting experience is preferred.

Experience working under PCAOB SOX controls requirements and the COSO framework.

Experience supporting external audits, financial statement preparation, MD&A, related disclosures, and finance reporting process improvements.
Compensation package:

Competitive salary: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00
