The overnight supervisor is an essential part of the care team who provides support and oversight of agency operation at all sites during the overnight period. Their role aids caregivers across all BCS programs to provide a high level of care outside of the primary hours of the day.
Reports to Management Team.
1. Monitors daily operations and ensures caregivers are completing assigned duties and performing as expected throughout their shifts.
2. Communicates with Program Managers and Home Coordinators regarding caregiver performance to inform quarterly supervision reviews.
3. May be required to respond to emergencies and / or critical incidents.
4. Supports compliance with the protocol between police and MCFD regarding missing children and youths by looking for and transporting AWOL youths to their home when required.
5. Complete incident reports as needed.
6. Liaises with funders, community partners and emergency services.
7. Conducts overnight safety checks on Binkadi Housing sites.
8. Is familiar with youth care plans.
9. Provides direct care performing the duties as required.
- minimum two years full- time experience in an MCFD contracted agency or Delegated Aboriginal Agency in BC.
- Demonstration of strong Leadership Skills
- Consistently performs caregiver and household duties to standard.
- Strong attention to detail and initiative

· In depth knowledge of trauma informed approaches
· Strong critical thinking and confident decision making
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Valid driver’s license
· Reliable consistent attendance and punctuality.
· The incumbent must be able to work in any BCS location, thus needs to be comfortable with a variety of presentations and personalities.
Pay: From $35.82 per hour
