Welcome Centre Attendant (Park Operator)
Great opportunity to work in a provincial park for the summer, the Mount Robson Welcome Centre is located in the shadow of Mount Robson, just 30 minutes from Valemount. Applicants must enjoy public relations, the outdoors, and be able to work in a professional setting.
This is a fast paced position in a beautiful setting. If you love people and talking about the outdoors, local waterfalls and the amazing Berg Lake Trail this is a wonderful summer opportunity. Position is seasonal and lasts from June - October 1. A flexible end-date can be arranged for students.
Duties include:
1. Public Relations and giving accurate directions
2. Working in the Welcome Centre Store
3. General Cleaning of the Welcome Center
4. Bookwork, Communications, and Safety
5. Berg Lake Trail Registration
Shifts are 8 am- 5 pm daily. The shift are done in either a 5 days on -2 days off , or 10 days on-4 days off work week. The schedule is set for the entire summer at hiring, with full time hours offered.
Welcome Center staff can live in park for the summer or commute. Furnished cabin style accommodations and utilities provided free of charge. Communal kitchens and living areas with a private room.

Pay: $20.50 per hour
