Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Site Superintendent with desire to grow into Site Superintendent position to join our residential construction team. The Assistant Site Superintendent will support the Site Superintendent and construction team in managing the day-to-day operations of residential construction projects. This role is essential to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Superintendent in coordinating and overseeing daily construction activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
- Manage inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring availability as needed.
- Support subcontractors and tradespeople on-site, providing direction and assistance.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with the construction team, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional construction-related education or certification is a plus.
- At least 2 years experience in residential construction or a related field.
- Basic understanding of construction processes, tools, and materials.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
