We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist in plating dishes for service, ensuring consistency and visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
- Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple tasks effectively
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in accordance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed
- Prior experience with meal preparation, serving, or the food industry is a plus
