- We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Audiology Office Assistant to join our hearing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support in an clinic setting, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care. On the job training will be provided to expand the knowledge base of the successful candidate.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors, answer inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups using electronic medical records system
- Manage phone systems, take messages, and route calls efficiently
- Assist with billing, insurance verification, and claims processing
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Perform general office tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
- Collaborate with hearing healthcare providers to support patient care
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar administrative role is preferred
- Ability to learn audiology terminology and customized electronic medical records system
- Proficiency in office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong English communication skills and warm, friendly customer service orientation. A second language is welcomed.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently.
