We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to meet individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages.
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their specific needs and preferences before each session.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding client needs and communicating effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for creating a welcoming environment for clients.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure clear interactions with clients regarding their preferences and treatment plans.
