Cost Control Analyst

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager the Cost Analyst is responsible to oversee and manage the projects change control process for the project, provide estimates and facilitate schedule analysis to changes. Also, work with the project to ensuring that all costs are properly recorded and collected for customer billing purposes, ensure proper tracking, analysis and forecasting of project costs and provide job costing information and reports to project management.

Key Responsibilities
Change Control Management
Track and report on actual, forecast and budget cost for each package
Process change requests
Track procurement commitments
Track and report on hours spent
Open and close charge numbers
Maintain the WBS current and control changes to it
Track expenditures against cost codes to ensure appropriate expenses are coded against appropriate codes

Required Knowledge & Skills

Post secondary education in business and/or Engineering.
Proven hands on experience in Cost Control.
Working level knowledge of PM+.
Computer literate in MS Office products
Ability to work within stringent time constraints
