Hardscaping Laborer
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Hardscaping Laborer to join our landscape construction team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in physical work, and wants to build skills in interlock, retaining walls, grading, excavation, concrete, and general landscape construction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, steps, garden walls, and other hardscape projects
- Prepare job sites by digging, grading, compacting, hauling materials, and setting base
- Load, unload, and move materials such as pavers, blocks, gravel, screenings, soil, and tools
- Operate small equipment and tools safely, including plate compactors, saws, lasers, shovels, wheelbarrows, and hand tools
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow direction from crew leaders and supervisors
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard
- Perform general landscape construction duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous hardscaping, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labour experience is an asset
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with a crew
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset
- Experience operating equipment such as a skid steer, mini excavator, or loader is an asset but not required

Schedule:
Full-time seasonal position. Hours may vary depending on weather, project deadlines, and workload.
