Kaycan Ltd. the Canadian market leader in manufacturing and distributing quality aluminium, vinyl and engineered wood siding products for the construction market, has an immediate career opportunity for an Office Assistant / Receptionist, at its Pointe-Claire head office.

Responsibilities

  • Replace receptionist during breaks, lunch, personal days and vacations (working hours are 8:15 to 5:15)
  • Receptionist tasks such as coverage and maintenance of phone system; includes greeting clients, answering the telephone, and maintaining the reception area
  • Send, receive and distribute faxes on a timely basis
  • Filing, organizing, photocopying
  • Assist with branch compliance duties within the Invoicing, Inventory and Accounting Departments
  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience in an administrative or clerical position
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and its applications such as Excel, Word
  • Must be fluently bilingual (English & French)
