Duties
- Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment using hand tools and power tools
- Support assembly processes by sorting, organizing, and preparing materials for production lines
- Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, finished products, or supplies within the warehouse or production area
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency throughout the production floor
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues as they arise
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of equipment and materials in a warehouse environment
Experience
- Prior experience working in manufacturing or warehouse settings preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with forklift operation and certification is highly advantageous
- Basic mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functions and perform minor repairs or adjustments
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere
