Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Production Labourer to support our front-end manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will assist with various production tasks, material preparation, and machine support activities to ensure efficient workflow throughout the plant.
Responsibilities
Operate a shear press to shear mica materials.
Cut copper using a band saw and chop saw according to specifications.
Prepare copper and mica bars for machining operations.
Stand and arrange copper and mica bars in circular patterns for lathe preparation.
Assist machine operators with material handling and setup.
Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Move materials throughout the facility using appropriate equipment.
Inspect materials for quality and report any concerns to supervisors.
Support other production and manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or production experience is an asset.
Ability to safely operate hand tools and production equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable attendance and positive work ethic.
Forklift experience is an asset but not required.
Pay: $26.00 per hour
