Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, and metal fabrication for roofing materials and ensure efficient productivity . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, expertise in warehouse / fabrication management. A comprehensive understanding of roofing metal fabrication and warehousing. This role is vital in maintaining optimal inventory levels, streamlining processes, and supporting overall business growth through continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties
- Manage and coordinate warehouse activities including receiving, storage and material fulfillment.
- Supervise warehouse staff to ensure safety standards, productivity goals, and quality control are met.
- Oversee production to maintain appropriate stock levels while controlling costs.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve safety protocols.
- Plan demand forecasting and demand planning strategies to meet customer needs effectively.
- Manage materials handling equipment such as forklifts; ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with industry best practices for process optimization and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising warehouse operations with a strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Demonstrated ability in order fulfillment, materials management, and warehouse distribution processes.
- Experience with metal fabrication (roofing), demand planning, and process improvement methodologies.
- Skilled in operating forklifts with relevant certification preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation accuracy.
Pay: $29.00-$35.00 per hour
