Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across our facilities to ensure operational efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electrical systems, including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and low voltage wiring. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment and systems to identify potential issues before failure.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and construction drawings accurately.
- Maintain and repair low voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades of electrical infrastructure.
- Document maintenance activities thoroughly and report on system performance.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects to improve facility operations.
- Support emergency repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance electrician or industrial electrician with a strong background in electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring and electrical components.
- Familiarity with construction practices related to electrical installations.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for electrical work.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical maintenance and installation.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
