Overview
DMS Metals Ltd. is a full-service metal recycling company serving the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding communities. We are seeking an experienced AZ/DZ-licensed driver with roll-off, tilt-and-load, and tow truck experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be based out of our Creemore location and will operate roll-off trucks, tilt-and-load tow trucks, and scow trailers.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver roll-off containers to industrial and commercial customers.
- Transport scow trailers between DMS Metals locations as required.
- Safely transport heavy loads containing various types of metal.
- Safely transport up to three vehicles using a tilt-and-load tow truck.
- Complete and document daily vehicle inspections.
- Secure all loads in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
- Complete all paperwork related to material pickups and deliveries accurately.
- Identify and report mechanical concerns, equipment damage and other vehicle-related issues to management.
- Complete assigned routes and tasks safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Follow all company policies, traffic laws and health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario AZ or DZ driver’s licence.
- Minimum 5 years of roll-off driving experience.
- Clean driver’s abstract.
- Strong knowledge of load securement and safe transportation practices.
- Ability to complete vehicle inspections and required documentation.
- Ability to occasionally lift between 25 and 50 pounds.
- Dependable, safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions from management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tilt-and-load driving experience.
- Scow trailer experience.
- Previous experience in the metal recycling or waste management industry.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Some Saturdays may be required.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 50.0 per week
