Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Distributed Systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable backend applications and APIs within a cloud-native environment. This role requires hands-on experience with modern software development practices, production troubleshooting, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Build and support scalable microservices and RESTful APIs in a distributed systems architecture.

Design and implement service-to-service communication patterns, error handling mechanisms, and resilient application architectures.

Develop, integrate, and troubleshoot REST APIs for internal and external system integrations.

Work with Kafka-based event-driven architectures, including publishing and consuming events, monitoring message processing, and troubleshooting integration issues.

Design and optimize Cassandra data models, queries, and database structures to ensure high performance and scalability.

Deploy, configure, and support applications running in Kubernetes environments using Helm charts and deployment configurations.

Monitor application health, analyze logs, and troubleshoot production and non-production issues across multiple services and environments.

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve system reliability and performance.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to established coding standards, design principles, and development best practices.

Collaborate with product owners, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Manage application configurations and environment-specific deployments across development, testing, and production environments.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of hands-on software development experience using Java.
