About AutoShack
AutoShack is a leading North American online retailer of automotive parts. We sell through our own website and major online marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.
We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee our Data and Catalogue Operations Department. This role is responsible for managing projects, workflow, quality control, reporting, staff follow-up, and product data accuracy.
This is a hands-on role. The successful candidate must be willing to understand the work, review output, follow up with staff, identify errors, improve processes, and make sure projects are completed accurately and on time.
This role is a strong fit for someone who wants to build, improve, and take ownership of an important department within a growing ecommerce business.
Responsibilities
- Manage data, catalogue, and ecommerce-related projects from start to finish.
- Oversee product data updates, catalogue maintenance, listing improvements, and data cleanup projects.
- Track deadlines, task completion, quality standards, and staff productivity.
- Ensure product data is accurate, complete, organized, and properly maintained.
- Identify missing, incorrect, duplicate, or inconsistent product information.
- Review team output and ensure work meets company standards.
- Improve checklists, workflows, task tracking, and reporting processes.
- Track KPIs such as data accuracy, error rates, productivity, project completion, and listing quality.
- Prepare reports for management with updates, risks, issues, and recommended actions.
- Research issues involving product data, marketplace listings, pricing, competitors, and catalogue gaps.
- Coordinate with data, ecommerce, product, marketing, and operations teams.
- Help guide team members and support accountability for quality, deadlines, and output.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience in project management, business operations, data operations, catalogue management, ecommerce operations, quality control, or a related role.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
- Ability to work with large amounts of product, business, and operational data.
- Strong problem-solving and research skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable holding people accountable for deadlines, accuracy, and output.
- Must be able to work full-time onsite at our Kanata office.
Assets
- Experience managing data, catalogue, ecommerce, product, operations, or quality-control workflows.
- Experience with Amazon, eBay, Walmart, or other online marketplaces.
- Experience with KPI tracking, dashboards, workflow planning, or process improvement.
- PMP, CAPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar training is an asset.
This Role Is a Good Fit If You
- Like bringing structure to busy departments.
- Can manage both people and details.
- Care about accuracy, follow-through, and accountability.
- Are comfortable reviewing work and correcting errors.
- Can manage deadlines without constant direction.
- Want to improve processes, not just track tasks.
- Want to grow by proving performance, judgment, and execution.
Candidates will be asked to complete a practical assessment involving project planning, data review, workflow improvement, reporting, and quality-control judgment.
