Position Overview:
We're looking for someone who genuinely loves coffee, tea, and café culture. You should be friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy environment. At least 1 year of barista experience is required, along with basic food handling knowledge.
In this role, you won't just be making drinks — you'll be a key part of how our café grows and becomes a real part of the community.
Hours and days may vary.
Availability should be ANYTIME-ANYDAY
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to our standards
- Operate the POS system to handle customer transactions
- Greet customers warmly and take orders with a smile
- Keep the work area and café clean and organized throughout the shift
- Handle opening and closing duties
- Manage your time well during busy periods without compromising quality
- Work together with the team to keep things running smoothly
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of barista and customer service experience
- Knowledge of espresso machines, grinder calibration, and basic equipment maintenance
- Experience steaming different milk types — regular, oat, soy, coconut, and almond
- Basic latte art skills (preferred)
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Available to work weekdays and weekends
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
