Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables promptly without compromising quality
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Prior food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to perform basic math for billing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Experience in food industry roles involving serving, cashiering, or hospitality is beneficial
- Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience
