Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes, ensuring that all projects meet high standards of quality and aesthetic appeal. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to create beautiful, functional landscapes. Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces attractive and healthy
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for landscaping projects requiring excavation or grading
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, trimming, digging, and other landscaping activities
- Maintain and repair landscape features, including pathways, retaining walls, and garden beds
- Assist with construction projects related to landscape design, including site preparation and installation of features
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential safety hazards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and uphold safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscape equipment and tools
- Familiarity with excavation equipment such as excavators is a plus
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols
- Experience with construction or site development is advantageous
- Excellent hand tool and power tool skills for precise landscaping work
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
