What your day to day will look like.
You will learn the fundamentals of our business. Your main tasks will include processing sales orders and invoices and helping customers on the phone or by email. We are very customer centric and place a great deal of value on making every interaction that our customers have with us a great one. The role's responsibilities include:
- Answer and direct phone calls and handle general inquiries from customers.
- Receiving and processing customer orders via email and online systems.
- Input orders accurately into our system (Oracle's Netsuite ERP system), verify details, and confirm shipment timelines with customers.
- Provide updates to customers on the status of their orders, including product availability and pricing as well as shipping and delivery information.
- Assist with data entry and administrative tasks, such as filing and maintaining order records.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional workplace environment and ensure clear communication with all departments.
- Identify and resolve order-related issues, escalating concerns to management when necessary.

- Learn about the sales cycle for small and medium sized businesses as well as Enterprise customers.
- Learn how to organize, classify and maintain customer records in a CRM system (Customer Relationship Management).
- Learn about vendor/customer relationships, contracts and methodologies.

Experience requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software; being tech savvy
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to follow SOP's
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required to support team operations
- Experience in claims is a strong asset
- Experience in AR cycles is a strong asset
- Previous accounting software or Oracle NetSuite knowledge is an asset
