Vancouver Water Adventures is a family owned Jet ski, Boat, Paddleboard, and Kayak rental and tour operator in the heart of Vancouver. We are currently hiring full time positions for the summer of 2026. Our season runs from May 1st to September 7th.
We are looking for a motivated, outgoing Street Sales Representative to join our team from June through September 7th 2026.
What You’ll Do
- Distribute discount coupons in high foot-traffic streets and tourist areas (such as Canada Place and surrounding tourist hubs in Downtown). For every coupon used, you will receive a commission on top of your regular wage.
- Actively sell tours and rentals on our street kiosk or the streets of downtown.
- Conduct door-to-door sales and introduce businesses to our rental and tour offerings. Establish relationships with restaurants, food vendors, restaurants, gyms, and other tourism-related companies in Downtown Vancouver through in-person visits
- Maintain and grow existing partnerships by revisiting contacts and encouraging ongoing bookings
- Support occasional email outreach campaigns to promote services and special offers
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence approaching people on the street and initiating conversations
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Previous sales or customer service experience is an asset
Compensation
- Base wage: $18.25
- Commission: Earn additional income through sales you generate
Performance Expectations
This is a short-term, high-impact role, so consistent performance is important. Street Sales Representatives will be expected to meet a minimum number of sales on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. We’ll provide guidance and support to help you succeed, but maintaining these benchmarks is essential for continuing in the position.
