We are currently seeking a Full-Time Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at our Calgary, Alberta Base.
The Human Resources Coordinator provides support for several human resources functions for both Central Mountain Air and Northern Thunderbird Air which included but is not limited to recruitment, employee engagement and employee file management. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Generalist
Responsibilities
- Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
- Prepare job descriptions and requirements, post approved job ads in a variety of locations at the direction of the Human Resources Generalist.
- Development of prescreen and interview templates with input from the Human Resources Manager and hiring Managers.
- Screen job applications to ensure only those with relevant experience proceed through the recruitment process.
- Assist in scheduling and execution of interview for a variety of roles.
- Help assess candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and company fit.
- Perform reference checks.
- Draft offer letters in line with company policies and procedures for approval by the Human Resources Manager.
- Delivery of approved offer letters, receiving returned signed offers and ensure the onboarding process is triggered in an organized and timely manner.
- Responsible for carrying out the onboarding process with all new hires.
- Assist with communications with all candidates and new hires.
- Assist in recruitment tracking of all recruitment processes and candidates.
- Lead management of both hard and digital employee files.
- Play a role in the roll out of Human Resources initiatives.
- Provide support on other Human Resources tasks.
- Assist with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Formal education in the Human Resources field (certificate, diploma) is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year in a Human Resources based role.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and solid verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
- Professional at all time and able to maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard data
