VanEcoRide is a growing, eco-friendly mobility startup in Vancouver specializing in e-bike and e-scooter rentals and repairs. We're building a team grounded in trust, honest communication, and shared growth. For this role, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys making people's days a little better and who has an energy that naturally draws people in.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in English, guiding them through rentals, reservations, and payments
- Provide e-scooter and e-bike safety briefings and usage instructions
- Handle first-line customer complaints with professionalism and composure
- Manage reservations, POS, and other day-to-day desk operations
Requirements
- Honest and accountable
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong English communication skills with an outgoing, customer-forward personality
- Familiarity with Vancouver's neighbourhoods, attractions, and popular cycling routes
- Prior experience in customer service, reception, or hospitality
- Comfortable with digital tools (POS systems, booking platforms, etc.)
Compensation & Culture
- $18.25/hr
- Full internal training on our operations systems and customer service approach
