Housekeeper (Hotel) - Standard
Overview
We’re hiring a detail-oriented Housekeeper to keep guest rooms and public areas spotless to brand-standard cleanliness. You’ll work independently, manage time well, and deliver a welcoming experience.
Key Duties
- Clean and reset guest rooms/bathrooms: make beds, dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize high-touch areas.
- Replenish linens/amenities; organize carts and closets to SOP.
- Clean corridors and public areas as assigned; remove trash/soiled linens.
- Report maintenance/safety issues; follow chemical/WHMIS guidelines.
- Meet daily room quotas and quality checks; document completed rooms.
Requirements
- 1–2 years hotel housekeeping experience (required); Marriott/brand-standard experience preferred.
- Working English; French an asset.
- Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Able to lift/push carts and stand/walk for shifts; weekends/holidays as needed.
- Excellent guest service and communication.
