Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and wanting to learn landscape maintenance and installation. We provide snow removal and ice management for multiple businesses around town in the wintertime. This role involves physical labour in various weather conditions, requiring attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. The Landscape Labourer will contribute to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients.

Responsibilities
- Perform landscape installations, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Utilize hand tools for tasks such as digging, weeding, and pruning.
- Assist in hardscaping and finishing for landscape features.
- Follow schematics for layout designs to ensure accurate installations.
- Maintain cleanliness of job sites by removing debris and waste materials.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
- Be able to work early mornings and some weekends for snow removal
- Have a class 5 unrestricted license
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
Experience
- Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to landscape design.
- Experience using hand tools effectively in various tasks is essential.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills are highly valued.
