Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator Assistant to support classroom activities and foster a nurturing learning environment for young children. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and committed to helping children develop essential skills. The assistant will work closely with lead teachers to implement educational programs, promote social-emotional growth, and ensure a safe, engaging space for all students.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and executing daily classroom activities aligned with curriculum standards.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs through positive interactions and guidance.
- Help supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times.
- Prepare learning materials and classroom setups to facilitate engaging educational experiences.
- Foster inclusive environments by working effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities, including those with disabilities.
- Support individualized learning plans by working one-on-one or in small groups as directed by the lead teacher.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and classroom events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom environment to promote health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Prior classroom experience or experience working with children is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when needed.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Passion for teaching and supporting young children's growth and learning.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
