JOB SUMMARY:
The Journeyman Electrician reports to the Foreman, to assist in the installation of electrical and underground utilities that includes installation of airfield electrical lighting and distribution systems as needed, as well as street lighting. The work takes place in outdoor environments around Edmonton.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working 5-6 days a week, 8-10 hours a day.
- Maintain dialogue between stakeholders and complete required paperwork.
- Ensure safe completion of project deliverables.
- Installation of lighting and distribution equipment, including vaults, pull-pits, cabling, and lighting towers.
- Trenching and installation of conduit.
- Troubleshooting and isolate circuits and cables, including testing of both AC and DC 5KV systems
- Aerial work for installation of lighting towers and flood lights.
- Build and install temporary power panels.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Class 5 license with own vehicle.
- Ability to lift 75lbs.
- Willing to do labour work as needed.
- Certified Journeyman Electrician in Alberta.
- Civil construction experience required.
- Experience operating equipment is required.
- Experience with aerial work is an asset.
