Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Associate & Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and safe delivery of goods from the warehouse to all Big Way store locations across the Greater Toronto area (4-7 stores). This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient supply chain operations and supporting store-level business needs.
Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations
- Process and print daily orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently.
- Organize products and maintain warehouse cleanliness and order.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
2. Delivery Operations
- Deliver products to company locations and customers within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude during deliveries.
3. Receiving & Forklift Operation
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Operate forklift to move, store, and organize inventory.
- Assist with occasional container unloading and pallet handling.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Comply with food safety and product handling requirements.
Experience
- Valid forklift certification and practical forklift operating experience.
- Valid Ontario G-Class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, logistics, or delivery experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Experience in food distribution, restaurant supply chain, or warehouse operations.
- Experience using inventory management or warehouse management systems.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
