Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Touchbistro. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Touchbistro POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and work areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as needed to support team operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure guest needs are met promptly by checking back regularly and addressing any concerns
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food industry standards, including food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Touchbistro POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Ability to perform basic math for billing, cashiering, and upselling purposes
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
