STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC) is a regional STEM program open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application to all.
The STEM program will educate and train students from preschool to high school. SMAC will specialize in an advanced, bar-no STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interrelated subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math. We seek a Leadership facilitator to align employees in the same direction to achieve a shared goal. What makes facilitative leadership different from the other forms of leadership is others' involvement at the decision-making stage.
Who Should Apply?
We are looking for experienced, TEACHERS, PREVIOUS OR CURRENT TEACHERS, OR RECENT GRADS WITH A DEGREE IN THE SUBJECT OF INTEREST for our international high school program. 1 to 8 weeks temporary part-time contract position.
The successful candidate will possess a keen understanding of the needs of high school students as well as an appreciation for their common struggles with high school study. We are looking for a dedicated professional who wants to provide students with an exemplary, undergraduate-preparatory education, which an interest in teaching international students.
Monday to Friday 9 am - 12 pm EST, or 1 pm - 4 pm EST. 3 hours per shift, 15 hours per week. Start times may vary.

Must love children, be dependable and organized with knowledge of STEM careers and STEM-based learning.

- Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills and advanced knowledge of STEM innovation.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Self-driven with a positive and professional approach to management.
- Very effective in dealing with complex issues.
- High level of emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and openness to receiving feedback from peers and SMAC staff.
- Can use zoom video conferencing for lectures and other communications and have the required technical equipment to facilitate the video technology.
- Neat, clean appearance, with background free of distractions, noise, and clutter.
Must be comfortable creating meaningful content related to AI activities for children between the ages 7-17 years in a virtual environment.
